Excellent training. I’ve taken what I learned and prepared my CV. There is no question that Henry knew what he was talking about. His experience was reflected in the course and everything was done very professionally.
The class did a great job of explaining the project environment, but the highlight of the training was weekday workshops. Each workshop enabled us to apply the concepts from the preceding lecture.
For 3 days CeCe worked with me on my CV and prepared me for my Interviews . She made suggestions for past experiences I should highlight. CeCe is just a really nice lady and really easy to work with.
I joined Almond Careers on the Project Manager Training. I made this decision after a long period contemplating to move career due to family life and the demands of the job I had.
Some of the things I liked in Almond Careers is the class room training apart from the online e-work experience. The class room training offered the face to face opportunity which was important especially for those who did not have a prior good knowledge of IT. It offered collaboration with other candidates and teachers. It also offered opportunity to learn about other areas of the wider team, for this I choose additional interest in Business Analysis as I had a flare for it. From this point I considered myself a hybrid.
After completing the class room sessions around the start of February to begin the e-work experience, I started applying for jobs. By the middle of February I got my very first interview, two interviews from different companies. Although I did not get the jobs (rightly so, looking back now), it offered me a first hand knowledge of the real world and what areas of experience were most required of me to get a job. Moving on in the following months, I made job applications of around 400, secured around 7 face to face interviews and several telephone interviews.
I got my job offer in May after a stiff interviewing process which lasted 2 months with several candidates in tow and constituted a role play as part of the interviewing process for a Senior Project Manager-BA, and have since been working.
Apart from my determination and hard work and God giving me favour and grace to carry on, a few other external human factors made it conducive for me to have succeeded. My product owner within Almond Careers was exceptional. With her work ethic and unbiased approach to things, from the moment I met her, I knew I would do well under her.
Oke was the developer who offered ongoing weekly online training for software collaborative tools such as Azure, Trello and Jira. He was particularly helpful to me in this aspect. As I came to understand and appreciate after I got my job and started working that “it did not matter how much of excellently I knew how to do the job, if I did not know to use the software collaborative tools as excellently it was a no brainier and no employer would hire me and neither would I last on the job. It would be likened to knowing how to write a letter very well without knowing how to write the letter on a paper.
The software collaborative tool turned out to be my main workstation everyday after I secure my job.
All I do daily including all written project documentation, project monitoring and controlling, managing tasks of resources, road mapping are carried out and stored on the software tool. It is also used for liaising with clients and stakeholders. So this is particularly important.
It has been a rewarding experience for me having passed through Almond Careers and I wish I made the bold move to change careers early on. All I learnt were industry standard.
On my part a lot of patience and determination was required as it was easy to loose hope with nearly 400 job applications and 7 face to face interviews only. But in reality it only took 3 months from first job application to get the job.
It could only be God! I prayed like the world was coming to an end! but I worked hard also.
Honestly, this has given us as Nigerians opportunity that we don’t ever see, we always sort of disadvantaged, it has opened our eyes to see we can be all, we can have it all and I don’t think I will forget.
Following every step of the way, every stage, every process, all the three months, it was just right for me. Just what I needed. I was really really blessed from the training. Wonderful……………. Wonderful.
I joined Almond careers as a Fresh Graduate, the project management skills, mentorship and even the practical work experience I gained on real project has enabled me to secure a job in Finance Straight out of University.
Almond Careers brought in the opportunity to learn in a more practicable way.
This is a purely new thing to me; I am hearing almost everything for the first time and I hope to use what I have learnt here in almond Careers to take project management to the next phase.
Initially I thought this was a scam, but thankfully I am in the training.
I want to use this medium to thank you Jess and the Almond Media team for your support and mentoring through the project training period.
I started with Almond Careers in July 2017, after which we commenced the project assigned to my team. We were able to achieve the assignment to completion with the help of Jess and team. During this period, I kept applying to different organizations which finally earned me an invitation for an interview. I notified Jess of my invitation. She took out time from her busy schedule to coach me on possible interview and applied all that I was taught. This approach, placed my interviewers on the defensive and they had no other option but to ask me to resume office ASAP.
All thanks to Almond Careers and Almond Media Ltd.
I am delighted to tell you that I got a job offer last week Friday for a Supporting Life Choices Development Manager.
I started the PMO training January 2016. I attended Henry’s and Tahrima’s classes in Manchester and in London, also attended the interview training with Uche via skype same last year. It was not an easy journey but I give thanks to almighty God.
However, it took me 6 Months to secure my first PMO role as a project support officer in 2016 after 9 interviews being unsuccessful. I felt so bad and thought I wasn’t good enough and that killed my confidence. Going forward I always say to myself I want to be a project manager in 5 years to come but I never thought it would happen in the space of 9 months.
Please never stop believing and trusting God. If God can do it for me he will also do yours. #letsgetliftedhigh
Many thanks to the Almond team.
Dear Almond Careers,
I was looking for a career change with genuine interest in Project Management. I enrolled in March with Almond Careers where I was trained by Theriima who saw potentials in me and was kind enough to answer all my “many” questions. She was very motivating, constantly reminding me to be confident and believe in myself ” her words exactly”.
I benefited from the experience of actively working on real projects with different teams -experiencing real difficulties. I also had my CV reviewed, had one on one interview coaching and finally….. Its July 2017 and I have now been offered a Project Administrator role with an asset management company and my aim is to progress quickly within Project Management.
I would strongly recommend Almond Careers because the practical experience and support has helped me build confidence and understanding on how to apply these theories to practical knowledge. I would also like to add that it is important to take these projects seriously and work hard for yourself because you may need to demonstrate these to your interviewers. Otherwise, you will be wasting your time and others.
A big thank you to team Almond!
Warmest Regards,
Esther K.
Dear Almond,
My journey with you started when I attended the April training session where I was trained by Mr Henry Mbadiwe on Project Management and Business Analysis. Right afterwards, I took a decision to put all efforts to grow as a Project Manager using the Work Experience program as a catalyst. The training opened my eyes to industry standard methodologies for managing projects and the experience program gave me a platform to explore.
Months after, I got an interview with a Swedish IT Company. Tahriima who works with Almond’s support team in the UK was with me all the way, guiding me through with tips and answers focused on the job description. After going though a rigorous process, I was selected for the role of a Technical Project Manager.
I truly want to thank Almond Careers, my project team, Jess and Tahriima who gave me all her time even when she was on holiday just to see me succeed. God bless you all.
Yours Sincerely,
Darlington Anaele.
Dear Almond Careers,
I was made redundant from my previous job and was seeking a career change. I thought of doing Business Analysis training for a while but kept putting it off until a close friend suggested Almond Careers to me. I finally made up my mind and decided to do the training in January for 4 weeks, and also did a complimentary Project Management training course almost simultaneously.
I had 11 face to face rejections from interviews and 5 telephone interview rejections (spanning 5 months) and was very discouraged. I began to wonder if this career choice was actually right. I then decided to switch to applying for PMO jobs because I had some training in it from the classroom at Almond Careers. But fortunately, I got 3 job offers for a Business Analyst role (2 went wrong in the negotiation stage) but I secured the 3rd one, which turned out to be the BEST!
I want to really appreciate Henry, Tahriima, Edwin, Jumoke and especially Uzor (who I would say is my No1 mentor- he kept encouraging me when I almost gave up). Thanks everyone, thanks Almond Careers. Good work!.
A big thank you to you all at Almond Careers!
Warmest Regards,
Ms. O
Firstly,
I would like to say thank you for all the help the organisation rendered to me during my training to become a Business Analyst. I enrolled on the B.A course on the 1st of June 2017, and rounded up after four weeks and a week after rounding up my course I was swiftly placed on a live project which was very helpful and increased my knowledge in the business IT industry. After being placed on the a live project and got a C.V review class from Peter I decided to start applying for jobs and attending interviews using the interview skills gained from ALMOND CAREERS.
After numerous interviews I am pleased to say on the 22nd August 2017 I was offered a permanent position as a Business Analyst in a DATA processing company in Scotland.
Looking forward to share more success stories as my career progresses.

Hello Henry,
I got a Project Administrator role for 6 months with NHS last week.
I was part of the team that worked on the KTB wedding app in Jan 2015. After completing the course and doing some more months of personal learning to keep myself updated with project skills. I went for few business analyst roles, but after several weeks of no joy in securing a business analyst role. I decided to apply for project support role about a month ago and I went for 2 interviews for the role of PSO, but to my surprise I was offered both roles. I decided to take the first offer. I am so grateful for the training given to us. I believe no matter what, don’t give up; your time will come.
Thank you
Hello Henry,
My name is Sharon Onumonu and I attended BTP/14/21st March 2015 class and worked on the online lingerie website (beyondtheperm).
I would like to thank you and your team for the training, support and motivation you gave during my training with you. When i started the training, i had so much doubt on my ability and worth, considering i have been working in a dead-end job for the past 3 years. I attended an internal job interview within my company for a project assistant role and was not successful, this made me revolted and i decided to make a change in my career. I stumbled upon your company on YouTube whilst i was researching on how to get into project management and will never regret the choice i made to enroll for a project management training with your company. I have secured a role with Accenture as a project administrator on a contract basis and started today 24/06/2015. I had an excellent interview, was able to demonstrate project skills that i acquired from the training and also did extensive research about the company before my interview. I was offered the job in less than 48 hours. I took your advice “you have nothing to lose, but a lot to gain” and i am so grateful for all you and your team taught me. I thank God for his infinite mercy and will highly recommend your company to others.
Good Morning Henry,
My tears are gone! My joy knows no bounds.
I have just secured the role of a Business Analyst with one of the top UK Banks. I joined Almond Careers late 2013 and at the time I was looking to change career. I got to know about Almond Careers on Facebook & I happened to coincidentally watch Henry give a talk on one of the TV stations about Project Management career and how they were offering practical work experience. So I decided to give it a try. After the training; I did my certifications and then started applying for jobs but nothing was forthcoming. I was barely getting calls and the few times I did, I never progressed any further. Discouragement set in; I caved in and gave up. I went into other ventures but my mind was still on breaking into the project management industry. Then one day in the course of encouraging my wife re a change in career; I realised it was time for me to return to my first love. So we took a bold step. I decided to retrain & my wife joined me in the training with Almond Careers in Feb this year. We applied ourselves individually & collectively with other members of the project team to all that we were taught both during the training & thereafter & I’m happy to say that this time around on several occasions I was getting put through to the next stage of interviews after the initial telephone interview. The team at Almond Careers also helped prepare me for these interviews. The more interviews I had the more my confidence grew. So finally the Journey took me 3 years – it should have been shorter(remember I gave up at a time) but now I know Persistence does pay off.
Never give up; you are next in line! Thanks Henry! Thanks Tahriima! Thanks the Whole Project Team. Almond Careers Rocks!!!
I had my training in Jan 2015, the first set of the year and in march just 5 weeks after the training, I was successful in securing a project analyst role with RBS. I have been a staff of RBS in all my career and it was the desire to change my role that got me taking the course with Almond careers. I was also the project manager in my group when we worked on the KTB App and the things i took away from my role as a PM was taking note of the key things I came across. And then armed with experience and confidence, I applied for this role. What fascinated the interviewers was the way I answered the questions from a project point of view. I asked the right questions during the interview which got the recruiters interested in me. Almond Careers is worth it and the knowledge you get from the training is sufficient for you to get your dream job. Don’t misuse this opportunity.
Cheers! – Charles
I am glad that I had the good fortune to attend the project management and business analysis course with Almond Careers. Without that foundation, I doubt I’d be writing this email. The team at Almond Careers was definitely heaven-sent. The course does not bombard you with text book information and let you on your way; it gives you the opportunity to get your feet wet. The project you are put on, the role assignment, the guidance; all these give you a solid foundation on which to stand on. I finished the course end of October, started applying in November, and had quite a few telephone interviews that fell through, each time a bit disappointed but I carried on. I got this BA job as a new year’s gift, after my first face-to-face interview late December. I grateful to Henry for his powerful teaching and to Tahrima and Chuky for their awesome support and encouragement. I wanted to send this email after a week (now a month) on the job so that I would be able to justify this advice. Study! Refer back to the training materials! Research! Ask questions! Do not take BA/PMO/PM forums for granted; find them online. You WILL get that first job!!! Your first job may be easy, slowly and kindly easing you into that role but don’t bank on that. Prepare yourself expecting that you will be dropped in the deep end of the pool and left to swim on your own. It will be a lot of work but by grace, we will all come out victorious. With a heart of gratitude to the team.

It is with my warmest greetings to be writing you this mail today 8th November 2017. November is a special month to me because it is my birth month. My names are Mrs Bolanle Mary Owolabi. I was part of your pioneer students in April 2017 for the 2 days training that commenced at Ikeja on Sat / Sun. The training was meant for my husband, who saw your advert on facebook and decided to call to book for himself, but later towards the training day, he had to go on a flight and couldn’t make it,so he decided I attend the training. I was skeptical about this from the start but I decided later to give it a try because I didn’t know if I could cope with my baby. Thanks to your Team that made it work out!. While I had my husband still come to check on us after his flight which was towards the end of the first day training, I paid full payment of N150,000 at once, at the point of registration. I just want to thank Mr Henry and his Team!.
It is with great pleasure to inform you I recently Got a job at Yaskyl medical diagnostic centre as their Project Manager,at Surulere.I will be coming to the UK next which is an official trip , I intend to stop by at your UK branch,by God’s grace in order to meet the UK Team!I must confess that the training and practical work experience acquired has not only made me employable, but also qualified me to be an Opinion Leader in a respectable Board Room, where major project management issues are discussed.
— Many Thanks Almond Careers.
I’m glad I enrolled on this course. Honestly the training is whatever you make of it. With hard work, perseverance and practice, the wait was worth it. The Practical side of the training was very enlightening for me. It gave me an understanding of a project environment, how things work and what is expected of you in such environment. I managed to secure a nice role as a result of the training. A big thank you to Henry, Tahrima, my project group and all the team at Almond careers for their support. My advice to anyone contemplating on enrolling at Almond careers will be to go for it. It’s worth every penny.
